GENERAL INFORMATION

Cannabidiol, commonly known as CBD, is one of over 80 phytocannabinoids found in The hemp plant. It is non-psychoactive and binds to receptors throughout the body within Our endocannabinoid system. It is becoming recognized for its benefits on human and Animal health and is capable of affecting nearly every biological process via the Endocannabinoid system. Early research and anecdotal evidence show promise for CBD and other Phytocannabinoids to support health and wellness.

Cannabinoids are a diverse class of organic chemical compounds that are naturally Produced in all manner of living things. When produced within plants they are called Phytocannabinoids. When produced within humans and animals they are called Endocannabinoids. Our bodies contain hundreds of these endocannabinoids, which act Upon our neural cell receptors (CB1 and CB2) altering the release of neurotransmitters. CB1 receptors are located mostly in the brain and CB2 receptors are spread throughout The body. Phytocannabinoids are almost identical in physical structure to Endocannabinoids, which allows them to interact with the internal system that our Endocannabinoids use, the endocannabinoid system or ECS.

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a complex network of receptors within the brain and nervous system of humans and other mammal’s including our pets. The receptor system exists in the immune system, the central nervous system, and within many organs – it maintains homeostasis and regulates various functions of the body, and is responsive to cannabinoids from hemp plants. The ECS is responsible for balancing and optimizing functions such as sleep, relaxation, appetite moderation, controlling inflammatory and pain responses and enhancing cognitive abilities like mood and memory. When there is deficiency of endocannabinoids in the body due to aging or other impairing factors like stress, it affects how we feel and can become problematic for our optimal functioning, creating chronic inflammation and immune system issues.

Terpenes are chemicals that you find in plants, fruits, flowers and herbs – including Hemp – and are the essential oils behind their flavor and aroma. In fact, Hemp contains up to 120 different terpenes and terpenoids. Beyond taste and smell, terpenes also enhance the effects of CBD and the other cannabinoids found in the Hemp plant. It appears terpenes create an ‘entourage effect’ that helps your body process CBD in a more natural way and amplifies and targets its benefits. In addition, terpenes have beneficial properties of their own, including anti-inflammatory and immune-balancing properties. The different part of processing Hemp extract that retains its naturally occurring terpenes is theirvolatility. Since they can easily evaporate during the extraction process, it’s important that the methods carefully control for temperature and other factors to ensure these compounds remain in the final CBD oil. Our extraction process retains all the vitamins, terpenes and other phytochemicals that increase the entourage effect without introducing any toxic solvents.

Hemp oil is extracted from the leaves, buds, and stem of the hemp plant, retaining a range of the phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids found naturally in hemp. CBD specifically comes from the flowers and leaves of the hemp plant. This is different than hemp seed oil, which comes from only the seeds of hemp, does not include all of the same plant compounds, contains no cannabinoids and is primarily composed of dietary fats.

Hemp and marijuana essentially come from the same plant family, cannabis sativa, but they have drastically different genetic profiles. The main difference between the two is their level of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Marijuana has a large concentration of THC compared to THC (from 5-30%) whereas legal Hemp plants contain less than 0.3% THC and naturally have exhibit high levels of CBD. We use U.S grown industrial hemp for all our Ace Drops CBD products. Although both Hemp and Marijuana are classified as cannabis species, their appearance, chemical composition, cultivation and applications are entirely different. Hemp is one of the world’s oldest domesticated crops and it is seeing resurgence after years of misconception banned it alongside its psychoactive relative, Marijuana. Updated legislation worldwide has made industrial Hemp available for use in over 25,000 possible applications including dietary supplementation, skin products, clothing, building materials and accessories.

No, CBD is not psychoactive and cannot get you high. All NanoZ CBD products are made from industrial Hemp and contain no THC.

Yes, CBD oil and other hemp-extracted products are perfectly legal to be used and sold within the United States of America. Products that are manufactured from agricultural Hemp, which contains less than 0.3% THC dry weight, are exempt from the Federal Controlled Substances Act, therefore are currently not unlawful for distribution. The growing, processing and selling of Hemp extracts – including cannabinoids from industrial Hemp – is possible through federal regulation within Section 7606 of the Agricultural Act of 2014 which the U.S congress passed and signed into law.

Yes, taking CBD is proven to be completely safe and non-toxic assuming the Hemp plant it is derived from is high quality and farmed with organic standards. We employ rigorous standards of testing to ensure that the Hemp sources for our CBD are organic and do not contain pesticides, heavy metals, microbial or solvents, and that our final products are pure and potent with no residuals or containments. Cannabidiol is known to be non-toxic, with no known fatal overdose levels ever reported. Studies have shown that chronic use and high doses up to 1,500 mg/day of CBD are well tolerated in humans. Always consult your physician when trying a new supplement such as CBD in your health care regimen.

No, CBD is not an addictive substance nor are there withdrawal symptoms upon ceasing to take it. CBD does not produce an excessive release of dopamine, therefore the euphoria associated with opioids or THC, or the relaxing effect of nicotine do not occur when taking CBD. CBD merely works to balance natural levels of neurotransmitters in the brain and nervous system. If there is an excess of one neurotransmitter, CBD will help to lower it, and if there is a deficiency of another, CBD will help to restore it back to an optimal level.

Employment drug tests are not designed to detect CBD but rather to detect THC because there are trace amounts of THC in more Hemp-derived CBD products, the regular consumption of very high doses of CBD (over 1000mg/day) may trigger a false positive result. It is, however extremely unlikely that even high doses of CBD products would exceed allowable limits of THC per millimeter of urine. Since all Ace Drops products include 0% THC, there is no risk of testing positive for THC. Some pre-surgical medical tests will test for CBD because it interacts with another anesthesia. We recommend full disclosure of our product use to your medical professionals

Everybody is different and there is no “Right” answer for dosing. Individual needs will vary, and each person’s body and health condition is unique. The amount of CBD you take depends on your doctors recommendations and your own research into how CBD will work for your unique needs. Whether for daily maintenance or for chronic or serious conditions, you will need experiment with dosage to find what works and ensure you’re using a product that delivers consistently so that you can count on it every time. As always, consult with your doctor or a healthcare professional before adding CBD to supplement regimen.

To be safe, please always consult your doctor before using CBD products in conjunction with other medications. CBD has no harmful side effects when used on its own but may interact with some prescribed medications. It can have a cumulative effect with some sedatives and can inhibit enzymes required for metabolizing certain pharmaceutical drugs (like hepatic drugs) and botanical medicines.

Due to restrictions with CBD we do not currently ship to the states of Idaho, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota.

CBD may offer a wide range of potential health benefits, but only a fraction of it actually makes it through the digestive system or layers of the skin and into the bloodstream. Nanosizing CBD makes it more available to the body and gives you a greater percentage of absorption by nanosizing CBD and blending it with minerals that open pathways in the Endocannabinoid System (ECS), CBD is more bioavailable and absorbed in far greater amounts than traditional oral or topical administration. Our CBD features nanoparticle CBD delivery technology, which bypasses those barriers and helps your body absorb more CBD, faster. This means you get more impact – and more value – from every dose.

Full Spectrum CBD is a whole plant extract that contains additional beneficial compounds that naturally occur in the Hemp plant including other cannabinoids, minerals, proteins, terpenes flavonoids and healthy fatty acids that all work synergistically with CBD to affect your ECS. This is known as an ‘entourage effect’ which is nature’s own healing formulation. Formulated from raw crude extract, full-spectrum tinctures contain the complete Hemp plant profile and are darker in color and stronger in taste. CBD isolate is the purest and most concentrated form of Cannabidiol. It takes effect in the body very quickly and a lesser quantity is necessary to induce desired effects. It is ethanol extracted and further purified to remove unwanted components including traces of THC, terpenes, waxes, oils, chlorophyll and more. This leaves a 99% tasteless and odorless CBD powder, which is then commonly used for formulating tinctures, salves and other CBD products. At Ace Drops CBD both forms of CBD extracts are used within our precisely blended formulations. Both are complete and effective, what works for you will depend on your specific needs, taste preferences and bodily reactions.

All Ace Drops CBD products formulated using industrial Hemp-derived CBD which is cultivated to contain less than 0.3% THC. We remove any trace amounts of THC during processing, and test all products to verify there is zero THC in our CBD oils.

Our CBD drops are most effective taken sublingually as they are absorbed by the mucous membrane then directly absorbed into the bloodstream without having to go through the digestive system or liver where parts of the supplement are lost. To administer, squeeze 1 ml of tincture under the tongue and hold it there for about 6090 seconds before swallowing to allow for most efficient absorption. To sustain beneficial levels in the bloodstream, it is recommended to take 2 droppers per day 12 hours apart. For more acute symptoms you may take 3 droppers per 6 hours apart.

Results from CBD manifest at different rates, depending on what you are addressing and the degree of any health imbalances. Usage method, the quality and type of CBD plus your weight, metabolic rate and composition also play a role in how long it takes to get results because of its nanoparticle form, we allow for certain effects to be experienced within minutes ingesting the CBD tincture can provide effects in as little as 10 minutes on an empty stomach and up to an hour if taking on a full stomach. Our products also feature our Nano delivery systems to speed absorption and improve bioavailability, and can deliver effects in 15-20 minutes. Chronic conditions may require up to 3 months for effects to be noticeable.

The noticeable effects of CBD generally last for up to 4 to 6 hours. CBD concentration in the bloodstream drops, significantly each hour after the initial dosage and after approximately 7 hours, its overt effects wear off. However, this doesn’t mean that CBD has fully exited the body. In most cases it takes about 4-5 days for remnants and traces to be eliminated entirely. Until that point CBD will continue to work alongside the natural endocannabinoids to optimize the body’s systems.

Store all products in a cool, dry place to prevent degradation. Tinctures may be stored in the fridge.

CBD isolate is a pure crystalline powder that contains 99%+ pure CBD. All the plant matter contained in the hemp plant, including oils, waxes, chlorophyll, are removed offering a finished product that’s CBD and nothing more. Emulsification is the process of solubilizing CBD oil into water. The idea is to capture the oil (containing CBD) in small surfactant bubbles. These bubbles are small enough to remain suspended in water and stable for a period of time depending on the size. The smaller the size of these bubbles the more stable the solution will be over time. “Nano” or “Nano-emulsified” solutions are simply solutions with very small bubbles suspended in water; 100 nanometer diameter = 0.00000001 meter diameter. For comparison, the hemoglobin protein is approximately 5 nanometers in diameter. So, we are making bubbles that are within the same size range as proteins in the human body.

Oil is not easily absorbed by the human body since we are primarily composed of water. The body does however have a natural mechanism for breaking apart oil and absorbing it into the bloodstream. The problem is that much of the oil passes through the digestive system before the body can fully absorb the oil. The mechanism the body uses is similar to emulsification. The body will pull the oil apart using bile and capture it inside a small bubble like structures composed of bile salts. These small bubbles have greater surface area aiding the enzymatic activity of pancreatic lipase which further breaks the bubbles down allowing easy absorption into the bloodstream. When we capture drug molecules inside nanometer sized bubbles the body does not need to act on the bubbles to achieve absorption. The drug is the more readily absorbed by the body.
